As the first local dedicated Halaal certified range in South Africa, Taahirah exists to simplify your skincare journey with premium quality skin and body care products that effortlessly match your lifestyle.
We are committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of your skin and have a firm belief in doing no harm, which includes no harm to you, to animals, and to the environment.
When it comes to skincare and cosmetics, you may have spotted common ingredients like stearic acid, glycerin or allantoin on your ingredients lists. Without vegan endorsement or Halaal certification, there's a chance that these ingredients are animal-derived and may be haram. This is why our Halaal certification is so important to us - it's our way of giving you complete peace of mind when using our products.
All of our products are certified by the South African National Halaal Authority (SANHA) and this certification means that you can be certain that we don't use any alcohol, animal-derived ingredients, insect-derived ingredients, or any prohibited or restricted chemicals.
We believe in using the power of the botanical world to create skincare products that are highly effective and yet gentle on your skin. Rich in antioxidants, vitamins, emollients and more, we use the best botanical and natural extracts to create scientifically formulated products that bring about changes to the way your skin functions for lasting results.
Our products are formulated using up to 98% natural and nature-derived ingredients, and none of our products contain any alcohol, animal-derived ingredients, parabens, sulphates, or synthetic colourants and fragrances.
Because we love our furry friends, we don’t believe in animal testing. All of our products are free from animal-derived ingredients and both our products and the ingredients we use are never tested on animals, making our products suitable for use by vegetarians and vegans.
It's also important to us that we invest in individuals from our local and surrounding communities by, wherever possible, employing and upskilling staff to learn the ropes of manufacturing, compounding, and production.
